At Japan Expo for the first time, Macaron Parfait is a small group of five Japanese seiyū (i.e. voice actor) : Lamune-sensei, Asamin, Choko-chan, Momomina and Kirie-chan.

All of them are professional voice actors : Lamune-sensei (Murata Masayo) dubbed Doraemon, Code Geass or Love Hina ; Asamin (Sanada Asami) voice acted Jun in Rozen Maiden and Sawa-chan in K-On!. Choko-chan (Ōsaki Chiyo) did it for few animes and video games, therefore Momomina (Momoya Minami) is specialised in american tv shows such as « Without a Trace » or « The Suite Life on Deck ». Finally, Kirie-chan (Kirishima Haruna) dubbed video games but she mostly works as a model for some magazines. Macaron Parfait was created to perform kamishibai. It’s a traditional Japanese street theater : the narrator tells a story while showing illustrations. Macaron Parfait aim to a update this art and offer shows performed by seiyūs dressed as lolitas. They transformed kamishibai in moe-kamishibai. This choice of kamishibai is not harmless, since it is the source of manga and anime. As they worked in this med, it was obvious for them. They usually perform to promote the lolita’s moe culture in Akihabara in Tōkyō. Lamune-sensei, Asamin, Choko-chan, Momomina and Kirie-chan had several performances per day followed by a song, dressed as schoolgirls our lolita. Their job as seiyū allow them to invest in their role and offer original acting , appreciated by the audience.
