Few days before the 2011 edition of Japan Expo, we learnt the coming of the Japanese Idol w]Momoi Halko[/w] on the Nico Nico Dōga booth.

Her name may evoke nothing to you but she is famous and loved in the Japanese otaku mid . Indeed, she got known by the dubbing of animes (Ai Yori Aoshi, DearS, Final Fantasy Unlimited...) but also by composing and / or singing anime themes (DearS, Genshiken...). But do not believe that her popularity stops at the border of the archipelago she got invited in numerous conventions in the past, mainly the United States.
Although she was present on the stand a few hours per day, we could obtain an interview with her .
INN : You are still relatively unknown to the French audience, could you introduce yourself? I came from Tôkyô, my name is Momoi Haruko. Call me Momo~i. You can follow me on Twitter. I started by performing in the Akihabara in street in 1997. I did it about 2 years. I was then able to make my debut as an idol and as an anime voice actor. Being a idol please me a lot and brought me much. Thanks to it I can sing my own songs, give concerts and many other things. Thanks for supporting me. Is it your first stay inFrance? That’s right. I’ve been four times in Germany and I perform a concert in England but it’s a first in France. Thanks to Japan Expo. In France, Japanese idols get more and more popular, are you ready to perform here? Oh yes, with pleasure. Being able to perform during convention is always a great pleasure so I will be delighted to do so. If I am invited, I will announce it through my schedule shown on my official website.
